We invest in gold, mutual funds, and property for happy living but what about health? Which thing we must know about health? And I realize most of people don’t know about Sarcopenia process. 

Part 1—-

What is Sarcopenia? 

In simple language sarcopenia means reduction (progressive loss) in skeletal mass due to ageing. 

From the time we are born around the time, , we turn 30,we generally achieve our peak muscle mass this age but post 30 we start losing muscle mass which is part of ageing process. But onset and progression can be delayed with proper guidance and awareness. Physical inactive people can lose as much as 3–8% of their muscle mass each decade after 30.It is thought to affect 30% of individuals of over 50years of age and more than 50% of those over 75 years. And that’s why it is important for everyone to take nutrition seriously. Nutrients needed to maintain strength and muscle health as they age. 

USE IT OR LOSE IT. 

Let me tell you that even a small percentage of loss in muscle mass matters. It weaken your muscles and strength year by year and symptoms started weakness, loss of stamina, reduced activity and lead to frequent fall, fractures. So avoiding this worries include some changes in your lifestyle —–

  1. Take muscle friendly Food –Protein rich diet  nourish our muscles. Protein quality and quantity always matter. Amino acid   Lucine important for muscles.  So always include in your diet milk and milk products, also take animal protein like chicken, fish, meat, egg etc. 

Vitamin D help to support maintain muscle health which we get from morning sunrays, egg yolk. 

      2) Exercise—

Regular Exercise is most important. Resistance and strength training increase muscle strength and improve functional ability. 

     3) Meet your Physician (doctor) —-

In sarcopenia lower concentrations of some hormones which you don’t recognize. So don’t treat blindly yourself without your physician opinion. 

So  friends try to take nutritional diet along with exercise which help for maintaining our strength, independence and engage in life’s precious moments.
